Samaritan House Ottawa is opening its third residence! This means we can support significantly more refugee claimants as they make their journey from surviving to thriving. But we can’t do this without your help! Samaritan House Ottawa is seeking financial support for residents’ basic necessities, support services, and house rent and utilities. Your contributions make a significant impact in supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Our goal: $10,000 CAD
Our goal for this fundraising campaign is to raise $10,000 CAD to cover the cost of utilities at our newest residence for the remainder of 2026. Donations of any amount are appreciated! Just $50 CAD can provide a refugee claimant with hot water and a warm bed for an entire week. Every dollar makes a difference!
Samaritan House Ottawa is a registered not-for-profit corporation. We are in the process of receiving charitable status. This means that donations are not currently tax deductible, and we are unable to provide tax receipts at this time.
